Fedor Emelianenko is widely regarded as the one of the top 5 MMA fighter on the planet, regardless of weight. His only loss came as the result of a doctors' stoppage due to a cut and was avenged in brutal fashion. He has defeated a virtual "who's who" of heavyweight fighters including Andrei Arlovski, Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (twice), Mark Hunt, Kevin Randleman, Mark Colman(twice), and Kazuyuki Fujita. On July 19, 2008, he defeated Tim Sylvia to become the first ever WAMMA heavyweight champion. He signed with Strikeforce in August of 2009 after negotiations with the UFC fell through.

Just one month before his high profile fight against Brett Rogers on the November 7th Strikeforce card, Russian heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Marina over the weekend in his native Russia. It is "The Last Emperor's" second marriage, his first having ended in 2006.

The celebration will have to be short lived for the fighter, who will be returning to training for his fight with Rogers.

Fedor vs. Brett Rogers will air on CBS on November 7.
